Initial Site Visit & Project Evaluation

We begin with an on-site visit to assess existing conditions and understand your goals. A second visit may be scheduled if additional trades are required.
During this phase, We:
• Discuss timelines, budget considerations, Phase scheduling and site constraints.
• Review your construction goals and priorities.
• Discuss the creation of an initial design set of drawings.
• Review materials and wish-list items
• Recommend cost-effective design alternatives based on client’s goals.
• View and measure location site.

Agreement, Planning & Project Start to Completion

Once the agreement is signed, we meet again to confirm expectations and finalize the project approach. We coordinate all aspects of the work, including:

• Recommend cost-effective design alternatives based on client’s goals.

• Determine permit and planning requirements

• Discuss work schedule and accessibility requirements for materials, equipment and parking.

• Notification to neighbors is always a good idea.

Project Start to Completion

Once the agreement is signed, we meet again to confirm expectations and finalize the project approach. We coordinate all aspects of the work, including:
• Pull existing home plans and have new plans made (including Engineer, architects (if necessary).
• Produce working plans.
• Permit Expediting: working with local Planning and Building staff to expedite approvals.
• Sourcing materials and services providers.
• Start of construction (Preparation of site (demolition, Rough-in work, etc.).
• Material ordering and fabrication (as needed).
• Material deliveries and equipment rentals.
• Scheduling inspections (is on-going for trades and builds until Final inspection the completion of project).
