The first project American Construction was recommended to us by a Project Manager with Oliver Company (Commercial Construction).
The first project was rebuilding a new redwood deck that was falling apart.
They totally rebuild this large Redwood deck the length of the house on a hill in El Cerrito. It turned out fantastic.
Naturally, we asked American Construction to remodel the same house in the El Cerrito hills with additions.
We planned to sell the property so we trusted them with many of the design decisions as well as incorporating our design elements into the project.
The house went through total renovation, structurally and remodel. The whole project turned out beautifully.
I and my husband look forward to working with American Construction, again.

I have worked with American Construction on several significant TI commercial and residential projects in and around San Francisco.
Overall, I was very satisfied with the work David and his team have done. They have consistently delivered very high-quality work products with strong attention to detail. They are very conscious about the workmanship and final appearance of their projects. Though not a designer, David also has a solid sense of aesthetics and finishes.
Additionally, the company is very cost competitive. You feel like you are getting good value for your investment. David is also very creative about finding cost-effective solutions to address various issues that crop up to meet budget constraints.
I’ve used American Construction on my personal properties in San Francisco to prepare for resale including a total remodel of a two bedroom, one bath flat which his crew open up the living-dining and kitchen with total open concept look and added an additional half bath and large closet in Noe Valley.
